Under the Leadership of Pastor Kevin M. Hunt and First Lady Lynette Hunt

Trinity United Bible Church of Coatesville was established in 1987, born out of a faithful response to God’s call and a commitment to serve the community with truth, love, and sound doctrine.

The ministry began humbly, gathering in a local funeral home, where believers came together to worship, pray, and grow in faith. As the congregation continued to grow, Trinity relocated to Montclair Avenue, deepening its roots and expanding its reach within the Coatesville community.

In time, God provided a permanent home at 50 South 8th Avenue in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, where Trinity has continued to serve as a place of worship, teaching, fellowship, and spiritual formation.

Under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Kevin M. Hunt and First Lady Lynette Hunt, Trinity United Bible Church has remained steadfast in its mission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthen families, cultivate worship, and serve the city with compassion and integrity. Their leadership helped preserve the church’s foundation, guide the congregation through seasons of growth and challenge, and maintain faithfulness to God’s call over the years.

A Season of Transition and Alignment

In December 2025, after prayerful discernment, Pastor Kevin M. Hunt and First Lady Lynette Hunt formally communicated to Trinity United Bible Church leadership their decision to step back from pastoral leadership and pass the baton in a Spirit-led and orderly manner.

Effective January 2026, Christian Johnson and Lyneesha Johnson were officially appointed as Co-Pastors of Trinity United Bible Church.

As Co-Pastors, Christian and Lyneesha Johnson now serve as the primary spiritual leaders of the ministry, entrusted with shepherding the congregation, stewarding the vision, and leading Trinity forward into its next season—while honoring and building upon the strong foundation established over the past 38+ years.

This transition reflects Trinity United Bible Church’s commitment to order, unity, and obedience to God’s leading. With clarity of leadership and continuity of care, the ministry is positioned for renewed growth, deeper impact, and greater Kingdom demonstration.

At Trinity Unity United Bible Church, we believe spiritual leadership and accountability go hand-in-hand. Our governance structure is designed to protect the integrity of the ministry, provide wise counsel, and ensure that decisions are made with prayer, transparency, and stewardship.

Guided By Pastors

The day-to-day ministry and spiritual direction of the church are led by the pastoral leadership team. This team is responsible for preaching, teaching, discipleship, and shepherding the congregation with care and biblical conviction.

Protected by Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides oversight for financial stewardship, facilities, and major organizational decisions. This structure ensures accountability, wisdom, and responsible management of the resources entrusted to the church.
